Jim Flaherty Tightens Mortgage Rules

Home Sales to Rise Ahead of New Mortgage Rules
A rush of home buyers trying to beat higher taxes and tighter mortgage regulations could pump up the housing market just as it's showing signs of cooling. Ottawa New Home Prices Outpace Other Cities
The price of new houses in Ottawa-Gatineau rose faster in December than in other cities, Statistics Canada said Friday. Dharma Developments, City, Reach Settlement on Stittsville Mixed-Use Project
